Day eleven has dawned over New Delhi for the three Tibetan hunger-strikers, despite considerable pain and fatigue their resolve remains to highlight the suffering of their compatriots in occupied Tibet and demand action to address China’s genocidal oppression of Tibetans. Yesterday the Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) were met by representatives of the United Nations, the body which earlier in the year had made assurances outside its New York headquarters to the TYC of an investigation into China’s tyranny in Tibet,a promise which has yet to be acted upon!
