Death Sentence For Opposing China’s Occupation

The Tibetan Center For Human Rights And Democracy today reports that the so-called Lhasa Intermediate People’s Court has passed (May 25) a death sentence on a Tibetan, Mr.Sonam Tsering  (image above) with two years reprieve. Five other Tibetans have also received prison sentences for, what the communist show trial claimed, concealing Sonam Tsering from communist Chinese security forces. This supposed crime occured during the 2008 Uprising against China’s occupation,  which erupted across Tibet, including the Tibetan capital, Lhasa, where Sonam and many others were arrested, tortured and gaoled for what was cynically described by communist Chinese media as ‘rioting’.
