Tibet Independence March-Day Two

“On the second day of the March for Tibet’s Independence, there were 9 core walkers: 3 westerners and 6 Tibetans. It was 100+ degrees on the road. Stopped for lunch in Lima, PA at 12:30pm. Walked 7 miles by lunch time. Passed through Media, PA where there was no Media! Lots of steep hills and cars responding to our “Honk to Tibet” sign. Encountered a number of dangerous places where there was road construction. First injury of the walk; major blisters. Covered 14.5 miles today. In the evening, we had a dinner and discussion with about 18 members of the Unitarian Church in Media, PA.”
