What is Tibettruth?
A not-for-profit network of individuals who support justice, human rights and independence for the peoples of Tibet and East Turkestan. Based in a number of countries subscribers are actively engaged voluntarily and are wholly supportive and active on the issue of Tibetan independence. We are not a hierarchical organization, there are no offices, nor do we receive or pay salaries, we do not make money from merchandising sales, and rely upon the kindness of individual donors to finance ongoing research and campaigns.
How Can I Get Involved?
Participation is simple, and requires no membership fee, if anyone supports the objective of an independent Tibet and wishes to become active they are welcome to join one of a number of campaigns, which are available upon the Blog and also appear on our Twitter account.
Why Do People Subscribe?
Because they genuinely care about Tibetans inside Tibet and endorse their struggle for independence.
How Can I Communicate with Tibettruth?
People wishing to get involved and chat with other subscribers may do so via a Twitter account run by a number of volunteers @tibettruth or chat with us on Facebook.
As we are made-up of individual volunteers there have previously been different opinions with respect to the use of personal data when using the Internet, some people were happy to use their names when working with Tibettruth others wished to retain some confidentiality. In light of such considerations, and mindful of security issues, after some discussion it was agreed to operate collectively as Tibettruth and not disclose personal information.
