Anonymous activists, ‘Operation Tibet’ have released online a media statement on their impending action supporting Tibet, due to target Chinese regime, corporation servers and companies associated with the Winter Olympics, launching in Beijing on February 4.
With the ethical horror-show of the 2022 Winter Games due to launch in China on February 4th we were extremely pleased to receive news on social media that hacktivists ‘Operation Tibet’ have issued a statement pledging to take action. If their previous activism is any guide we can expect to see a number of Chinese online platforms and websites being targeted, no doubt linked to this appalling event.
We’ll be posting updates on this as and when available. Meanwhile we’d like to once again express our genuine appreciation and respect to Anonymous for showing such amazing support for Tibet.
Anonymous activists have been busy the past few days ahead of an action they are calling #OpGoldFKR, which launches April 1 and seeks to target Chinese mining corporations, whose presence in occupied Tibet is causing serious environmental damage and poisoning Tibetans. Today however a number of Chinese government websites have been hacked and taken offline by hacktivists operating under the title #TheDragonsDen #blackhat_global #TheCreed. Targets have included government, engineering sites and just announced on Twitter a bio-medical research center website was breached and its data results leaked.
We’re getting news in from our team over on Twitter of what looks like a massive strike against Chinese government and other sites in China. The anonymous action was launched December 4 by #BlackHat #Op_Tibet #OpFreeTibet and has smashed over 50 websites which have been taken offline in support of the Tibetan cause for national freedom and human rights. In addition a long list of official Chinese email accounts have also been hacked, leaving them open no doubt to further action.
To all those involved in this digital activism please know this, your support and solidarity with the just cause of Tibet is greatly welcomed. Thanks to all those who know who they are for striking this blow against the censorship and tyranny of China’s regime.
