We don’t have much sympathy for the plight of Mr Meng Hongwei, a Chinese national elected in 2016 to head the organization. After all in his position as China’s Vice Minister for ‘Public Security’¬† he was responsible for and authorized the torture, arrest and jailing of countless numbers of those suffering under the tyranny of the Chinese regime. Including of course the oppressed¬† peoples of occupied Tibet, East Turkistan, Southern Mongolia and Manchuria. His hands are stained with blood.

Given his record and degree of involvement there will be few tears shed if, as is highly unlikely, that he has suffered the same dark fate as the many whose lives were destroyed by his signature.

So what’s the deal? How does such a prominent figure go missing in China? Either he’s been caught out in some criminal activity, set-up by political rivals within the Chinese communist party (of whom he remains a key member) or his disappearance may well be a staged event. No doubt the official narrative will prove interesting reading over the coming days!
