Taking the path of anonymous hack-tivism must be a lonely, challenging and indeed a courageous action. After all the corrupted governments and corporations targeted regard such activity as illegal. There exists a real risk of prosecution. Yet despite such risks anonymous activists are prepared to stand against injustice, tyranny and censorship in defense of liberty and human rights.

The anonymous support given to the cause of Tibet by #Op_Tibet is such an example. Exposing and challenging the Chinese regime. Targeting websites that channel disinformation and propaganda calculated to conceal the harrowing oppression suffered by Tibetans.

As a digital network dedicated to reporting and campaigning in support of Tibet we applaud those across Anonymous for their solidarity with the Tibetan struggle. We thank those who strike a blow against the terrorism of China’s government. Your determined activism is always greatly valued.

Anonymous’ Million Mask March Asked To Remember Tibet And Plight Of Uyghur Children

Our crew over on Twitter has today been sent a video statement from the Anonymous project called ‘Operation Tibet’. It calls upon those taking part in the global Million Mask March on November 5 to remember Tibet and also highlights China’s disturbing policy of forcing Uyghur children from their families and detaining them in brainwashing centers. Awesome to see the Tibetan flag raised during the November 5th mass rally by Anonymous in London, as thousands of folk marched through the city protesting against a whole range of issues.
