Thanks to our Twitter crew @tibettruth we are seeing some awesome action from Anonymous as part of their #Op_Tibet campaign. This week alone a number of Chinese government sites have been taken offline and as we compose this post today, another two have been targeted.
We want to take a few moments here to express our sincere appreciation to all those who are involved in these ongoing actions, the active solidarity show by Anonymous to the just cause of Tibetan national freedom is greatly welcomed.
Remember also that those individuals are devoting their time and specialized skills, removing websites that promote the deceptions and propaganda of China’s regime. Such activism comes with the risk of arrest and prosecution, since despite the clear ethical motivation of Anonymous in supporting Tibet, their digital techniques are regarded as criminal. Crazy right? That the same governments, themselves committing crimes against humanity should criminalize those who are opposing censorship, human rights abuse and the denial-of-freedom!
Our respect to those who know who they are in your support for Tibet, the dedication and expertise you devote is a major assist in exposing and opposing China’s totalitarian tyranny. We wish the upcoming Million Mask March November 5 every success in advancing human rights, justice and equality
During the past few weeks our Twitter colleagues @Glasto4TIBET have been in 24/7 action preparing for Glastonbury Festival which launches June 21. It looks like the Tibetan flag will be flying again, thanks to some amazing folks who’ve offered their support in ensuring that the issue of Tibet will have a positive presence at the event.
In 2016 #teamGlasto4TIBET was greatly helped by Luis Vilchis, who traveled over from Mexico and Karen from Cambridgeshire, England. This year we’re delighted to hear that in the town itself #teamGlasto4TIBET has three iconic Glastonbury partners who will be showing solidarity with the people of Tibet.
It’s a pleasure to welcome Gothic Image, The King Arthur pub and Hundred Monkeys Café , all based in the center of Glastonbury, thank you so very much for supporting #teamGlasto4TIBET.

Anyone visiting the town is recommended to check these out, you will be sure to get a great welcome, especially if you support Tibet 🙂
This is a shout-out to those anonymous activists who yesterday targeted Chinese government websites in action to support Tibetan Independence Day. Your active solidarity with the just cause of Tibet is greatly appreciated. That you chose to take a stand for justice, human rights and national freedom for the Tibetan people, against the the Chinese regime, is an action which would resonate in the hearts of Tibetans living under the shadow of that tyranny.
The operation you carried out not only disabled a number of official sites, causing disruption and delay to the Chinese authorities, but more importantly sent a resounding message. Namely, that people around the world care about the plight of Tibetans and are willing to expose and oppose the dark realities of Chinese rule in Tibet. In addition, thanks to your actions the issue was given wide exposure across the digital maelstrom of social media. We were greatly assisted in receiving news about events by the following, who deserve special mention: @AnonymousTibet @team_riddler @anonymzmeduza @BodhiAnon @anonriddler @ProjectInject
