An 18 year-old Tibetan, named as Gonpo Tsering is reported to have today self-immolated in Amdo region of Eastern Tibet. According to latest news he died during the protest which like others that have happened across the region, and other parts of occupied Tibet, was in support of independence for Tibet and the return of the Dalai Lama.
