Tibetan Children Indoctrinated To Destroy Tibet’s Cultural And National Identity

The images posted here are from what’s described as a school in Metog, a small town within Tibet’s Kongpo region near the border with India. What they reveal is China’s program to Sinicize Tibetan children through political and cultural indoctrination.

The objective is to eradicate within the minds of these children any sense of Tibetan cultural and national identity, this is but one chilling aspect of China’s ‘solution for Tibet’. Nothing less than cultural genocide.

China’s Psychological Assault On Tibet’s Children

One of the areas in which the Chinese regime excels in is its use of euphemism. Like all dictatorships it uses such language to dilute, distract and conceal the more odious of its policies and practices. This is important to remember when you are consuming mainstream media reports on Tibet, as they simply repeat the official Chinese narrative.

Take for example a report today, picked up by a number of news agencies and that ‘Education quality in Tibet’ has improved. Do you think that refers to student attainment, quality of teaching, educational progress? Of course it would reasonable that some may apply such an interpretation, which is the response the Chinese authorities were hoping to produce.

However what this cynical and sly propaganda is really celebrating when referring to ‘improvement’ is the sinicization of Tibetan children’s thinking and sense of personal and cultural identity. After all when we use the term ‘school’ as applying to China’s occupation of Tibet it’s important to be mindful of their central purpose and function. If Tibetans inside occupied Tibet were allowed, under international monitoring, to determine the future status of their country do you think they’d vote for a continuation of Chinese rule?

The subject of building what has been laughingly described as ‘Striving to be a Model of National Unity Together and Building a Beautiful and Happy Tibet‘ was today the topic of a meeting organized by the Chinese regime and attended by politically indoctrinated Tibetans.

These are individuals who join the communist Chinese party to gain financial and employment security, others are ideologues, while younger ‘delegates’ have been completely brainwashed.

It is of course impossible for the people of occupied Tibet not to be exposed to the daily flood of Chinese disinformation, political slogans are on virtually every street, television broadcasts and the internet are dominated by official propaganda. Towns and villages are targeted with staged public events in praise of Xi Jinping. While as we have reported previously Tibetan children are being denied their cultural identity and heritage and groomed into loyal Chinese speaking citizens.

Yet whatever the reasons for becoming a collaborator those Tibetans approving and implementing the latest edicts on Tibet from China’s regime, far from building a contented and thriving Tibetan society, are assisting in the oppression and elimination of Tibet’s cultural and national identity.

China Issues Delusional And Mendacious Claim That Uyghurs Have Been Freed

The Chinese regime today issued yet another fact-free claim, this time asking the world to believe that huge numbers of Uyghurs, detained within indoctrination camps have been released. This latest deception was promoted by Uyghur collaborator in occupied East Turkistan (so-called Xinjiang region) Shohrat Zakir, who is Beijing’s puppet governor.

According to Mr Zakir:

“At present, all the trainees (sic) who participated … have completed their studies (sic), found stable employment with the help of the government and have improved their quality of life and live a happy life.” Source: The Guardian December 9, 2019

Clearly this traitor is unwilling to recognize the program of cultural genocide inflicted by his Chinese paymasters upon the Uyghur people

Lhasa: November 14, 2019: The relentless indoctrination of Tibetan children by the Chinese regime continues. Today in Lhasa students were marched into a theater, provided with the flag of China, others had it face-painted and then seated in anticipation of a propaganda show.

The story, is of course a political fiction, created by China’s ministry of disinformation, a toxic fantasy that replaces authentic Tibetan history with a calculated lie showing Tibetans under the oppressive yoke of an elite and uncaring aristocratic elite. In this scene Tibetans having been supposedly enlightened by Maxist-Lenenist doctrine, courtesy of those helpful invading (oops, liberating) Chinese troops decide to resist the oppression of their rulers.

That the account is a fabrication while known to the Chinese regime is of no importance, the key objective is to employ the methodology of the Nazi’s ‘Big Lie’ which was that repetition over time would transform a falsehood into a truth. Given that these Tibetan children probably have little knowledge of the actual events regarding the invasion of Tibet or the condition of Tibetans prior to occupation by Chinese forces, the story presented to them is engineered to implant a false history and inculcate obedience and loyalty to the regime.

The merciless Tibetan aristocrat having been overthrown, the show concludes with scenes of gratitude and harmony, as China’s heroic liberators of Tibet are served tea and praised. The concoction having reached its close, the cast assemble to lead the audience with a rousing song in praise of China’s communist party and its glorious leader, Xi Jinping. Welcome to television in occupied Tibet!

The Brainwashing Of Tibet’s Children

The surrounding regions of Lhasa such as Ngari witness regular convoys of buses heading off to Tibet’s capital. On board are Tibetan children and their Chinese ‘minders’ headed for indoctrination centers.

The aims of which are to erode Tibetan cultural identity. The language medium is Chinese, classrooms and corridors display the propaganda slogans of China’s communist party regime, each day children are lined up to sing in praise of dictator Xi Jinping. Chinese culture dominates every aspect of attendance at these centers, including the food!

This psychological assault is one of the weapons used to assimilate Tibetans and eradicate any notion of national and cultural distinctiveness.

The onslaught against Tibetan culture marches relentlessly on. China’s regime targets the children of occupied Tibet robbing them of their cultural identity within indoctrination centers. Such as the one above in the Tibetan town of Chamdo near the border with Tibet’s Kham region. In this so-called ‘experimental primary school’ the Chinese language is compulsory, along with a psychological grooming designed inculcate loyalty and patriotism towards China, its communist party regime and dictator Xi Jinping.

The indoctrination of Tibetan children by the occupying Chinese regime continues, one component of a strategy to eliminate Tibet’s cultural and national identity. Most folks justly would call it cultural genocide, but for the Chinese psychopaths who enforce such programs it’s regarded as promoting social stability and a devotion to the so-called Motherland.

In the latest example of this ethnic annihilation Tibetans in a school located in Gyantse, U-Tsang region of Tibet are shortly to be ‘educated’ on the topic of patriotism, in other words a mindless devotion to the communist Chinese regime and the thoughts of Dictator Xi Jinping.

The brainwashing will target primary and middle school students via a new textbook, which the Global Times (one of China’s propaganda conduits) today claimed would “…integrate regional history and geography with moral education.”. Well doesn’t take too much intepretation to read between those totalitarian lines does it!

According to reports it also seeks to educate students on what’s laughingly described as the “integration and lineage of Han and Tibet cultures”. Maybe they can instruct the Tibetan children on the meaning of euphemism and disinformation!

Tibet Terrorized By China’s State Engineered Mass-Psychosis

Reports just emerged from occupied Tibet of a paramilitary-style indoctrination camp being established near Shigatse in the U-Tsang region. WIthout the incredible courage and sacrifices made by Tibetans living under the terrorism of an illegal Chinese rule such information would not reach the outside world. The land is under a complete lockdown.

We’ve seen the accounts of concentration camps in East Turkistan, where Uyghurs are being brutalized and programed into subservience and loyalty to the ideology of Xin Jinping and his communist Chinese party. In Tibet a similar process has been ongoing. Although rather than jailing countless thousands into hastily constructed camps China’s regime has deployed an army of loyal Tibetan cadres as thought-police to monitor, enforce and report across every settlement in Tibet.

It is a fascism, a totalitarian colonialism which Marx would have had extreme difficulty in championing. Many of its features would have been recognizeable to the German National Socialist Party, particularly the forming of youth leagues, programs of indoctrination, and the control of society through terror. A state-induced and coerced mass-psychosis is enslaving Tibetans in their own land.
