Tibet’s eastern region of Amdo, though suffering intense suppression from thousands of Chinese paramilitary continues to witness Tibetan resistance to China’s tyranny, and has seen a wave of self-immolations over recent days. The latest took place yesterday evening, again in the Rebkong area, when another Tibetan, Mr Sangdag Tsering, 24 self-immolated to protest against China’s occupation of Tibet.
