Tibetan Self-Immolates On Tibet’s Independence Day

On the day commemorating the Declaration of Tibetan Independence, issued by the 13th Dalai Lama on February 13 1913 news has emerged of a further self-immolation in Ngaba in Amdo region of Eastern Tibet. According to reports Mr.Lobsang Namgyal, aged 37, self-immolated in protest against China’s illegal and brutal occupation of Tibet and the return of the Dalai Lama.
