Is anyone really surprised at the idea of an American President endorsing the torture and genocidal policies of the Chinese regime? More here If so then such incredulity is based on a lack of knowledge. The cold fact is that the photo-opportunities at the White house and occasional comments on human rights are a concealment. US Administrations care little for the plight of Tibetans or Uyghurs under the brutal rule of China.
Now John Bolton’s claims that Trump supported Chinese dictator Xi Jinping’s establishment of concentration camps to incarcerate untold numbers of Uyghurs may or not be accurate.
